Private temporary email without account registration
Last updated: 30 October 2026.
1hemail requires an inbox access token: knowing the email address alone is not enough to read its messages.
Private access is not complete anonymity
Your browser holds a private token. Anyone with an inbox-sharing link or QR code can access that inbox. The service and infrastructure still process connection information; see the privacy notice. The inbox creation rate-limit record stores an IP hash rather than the raw IP address.
Reading formatted mail
Scripts are not run in the isolated message viewer and remote images are blocked by default. Allowing remote images can contact the sender’s server. Links and downloaded attachments need your own judgement.
Shared devices and phones
The Open on phone QR code carries access to the same inbox; treat it like a password. Delete the inbox when finished on a shared device. Lost tokens cannot be recovered.
Is temp mail safe?
It can separate low-stakes mail from your personal inbox, but it is not appropriate for secrets, long-term accounts or account recovery. Compare Mailinator’s public and private options and YOPmail.
