Terms of use
Last updated: 29 October 2026.
These terms explain the rules for using 1hemail.com. By creating an inbox you agree to them. They describe how the service works; they are not legal advice.
What the service is
1hemail.com gives you a temporary email address that receives mail for 60 minutes. The inbox is private to the browser that created it, or to anyone you give its link to. When the time runs out, or when you delete it, the address and its messages are removed and cannot be restored.
Acceptable use
You may use the service for lawful, short-term purposes, such as receiving a sign-up confirmation or testing your own application. You must not use it to:
- break the law, commit fraud, or impersonate someone;
- harass people or collect mail meant for someone else;
- receive anything you need to keep, such as banking, government, medical, or password-recovery mail;
- get around the creation limits, verification, or other protections of 1hemail.com.
Other websites set their own rules about temporary addresses. Following them is your responsibility.
No guarantee of delivery or availability
Mail can be delayed, filtered, or refused by the sender, and the service can be unavailable for maintenance or because of problems we do not control. Messages are not backed up. Save anything you need before the inbox expires. The service is provided as is, without any promise that it will suit a particular purpose.
Limits
Each IP address can create three inboxes per hour, and choosing New address counts as a new inbox. An inbox shows up to 30 recent messages, has about 10 MiB of space, and offers attachments up to 5 MB for download. We may change these limits to keep the service working for everyone.
The paid extension
You can add one extra hour to an inbox for US$3, once per inbox, through Stripe or PayPal. The charge is completed only when the extra hour is applied. If the inbox expires before checkout finishes, the extension is not applied and the card authorization is released. If you were charged but your inbox did not get the extra hour, contact us with your receipt. Deleting an inbox, or choosing New address, ends any extra time you paid for.
Abuse
We do not read inboxes, but we may block an IP address, stop accepting mail for an address, or delete an inbox when we see abuse or a legal request requires it.
Changes
We may update these terms as the service changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
